Criteria for organizing complex data at a glance

Cognitive-based practical visualization designed with Excel and AI.

“Why do we need an explanation rather than a report that can be read?”

Now you can easily design your own reports with Excel and AI!

A screen structure that goes beyond organizing in a way that looks good, makes the core visible first

It's not a painstakingly created chart, but a report structure you can understand without explanation!

— Information structuring designed with preemptive attributes and gestalt principles

— Organize reports that separate key metrics with KPI cards and conditional emphasis

— Practical design ability to control chart components (figures, axes, grids)

— Practical responsiveness that extends to time series, hierarchical data, and AI visualization

Don't list the charts anymore.

Change it to materials where decisions can be made right at the meeting!

What is data visualization?

Data visualization isn't just a technique for drawing charts.

It is a 'cognitive-based design technology' that structures data according to how people perceive information and designs it so that the core is visible first.

By understanding preconceived attributes (location, color, size), gestalt principles, and cognitive load theory, you can turn complex figures and tables into structures that can be read at a glance.

From KPI card configuration, conditional highlighting, chart component (figure and axes) control, and visualization of time series and hierarchical data

— Even with the same data, the transmission power is completely different depending on the design method.

Be someone who 'designs' reports, not someone who 'organizes' them.

Overwhelming AI Excel Report - Features of the Brain Science Cognitive Design Visualization Curriculum Passed Once and for All

This is a practical course that completes everything from cognitive design to AI expansion with Excel-based exercises.

1. The beginning of visualization to understand how people see

Cause analysis of complex reports through sensory/working memory and cognitive load theory

2. Create a 'design standard' on a chart that used to be made with a sense of thought

Structured so that the core is visible first through preconceived attributes, Gestalt principles, and color contrast criteria

3. Separate key metrics with KPI cards and conditional emphasis

Complete report top structure and emphasis design skills through B-shopping sales data exercises

4. Securing the ability to 'control' rather than draw charts

After understanding figures, axes, grids, etc., select bar, line, stacked, and hierarchical charts according to the purpose

5. Practical responsiveness that extends to time series and hierarchical data and AI

Solve real-world blockages, including Gantt charts, linear interpolation, treemaps, and map visualizations

The moment the structure becomes persuasive rather than the words, the level of the report changes.

Data visualization with design criteria, start now!

“So what's the conclusion?” Visualizing data that blocks the source

The chart is created, but the explanation eventually gets longer because the core isn't visible first.

About knowledge sharers

I can confidently recommend it to people like this.

— A practitioner who makes charts but constantly revises reports

— “So what's important?” A planner who often hears the question

— Those who are familiar with Excel charts but don't have any selection criteria

— Those who want to show KPI cards and key indicators more clearly

— People who want to organize complex data on one screen

— Those who are trying to make a chart with AI but are unsure

The data is full, but the persuasive power is empty, isn't it?

Complete compelling reports with visualizations that show the key points first.

Course features

STEP 1. The starting point of visualization to understand how people see

Systematize the principles of why some reports come at a glance through preemptive attributes, gestalt principles, and cognitive load

STEP 2. Establish information organization standards that make the core visible first

Establish criteria for prioritizing indicators using KPI card organization, conditional highlighting, and table visualization techniques

STEP 3. Learn how to “select” a chart rather than “draw”

Establishing usage standards for bars, curved lines, accumulation, area, and hierarchical charts, and securing judgment on figure, axes, and color contrast control charts

STEP 4. Extended visualization exercises for complex data

Advanced capabilities to respond to complex data such as time series forecasting, Gantt charts, treemaps, and sunbursts

STEP 5. Experience expanding visualization and automating with AI

Securing AI visualization expansion capabilities through ChatGPT/Gemini-based chart creation and map visualization

As data grows, why does transmission power decrease?

Make complex numbers understandable 'at a glance'.

Visualization standards applied directly in Excel-centered practice!

Organize everything from chart selection to setting control at once

Expected Questions Q&A

Q. Can I take the course even if I'm not good at Excel?

A. Yes. This course does not focus on advanced functions or complex formulas. Since it focuses on chart configuration, adjustment of settings, and visualization judgment criteria, you can follow along if you only have basic experience using Excel (organizing tables, creating charts).

Q. Are there any requirements or requirements to take the course?

A. No special prior knowledge or skills are required to take the course. However, if you have a Google account to access generative AI tools in the course, you can proceed more smoothly. If you don't have a Google account yet, we recommend that you sign up for a smooth learning experience before the course.

Q. Can I only take the Generative AI course if I have a paid subscription?

A. Subscriptions and payments are not required to take courses. The exercises are designed so that free tools and Excel alone are sufficient for practical application, so there is no hindrance to learning at all.

Please check before taking the course!

Since this is a practice-oriented course, it is a good idea to prepare a dual monitor or an extra device that can separate the lecture screen from the practice screen.

Also, since exercises are conducted based on Windows OS, we recommend taking courses in a Windows environment.

Lecture plan and practice files are <00. It is located in the Textbook Download Center> section.
