I don't try to interpret long English sentences perfectly from the beginning.

Key words → Sentence structure → Break reading → Read directly → Understand the text

Follow this process to read one sentence at a time.

We'll look at where to break an English sentence, what words are key, and what the framework of a sentence is, so even those who find the English Bible difficult can feel free to follow along.

If it's lesson 10, you can see the entire flow of Mark's Gospel

We will travel through the entire Gospel of Mark over a total of 10 lessons, from Mark 1, the beginning of Jesus' ministry to the cross and resurrection.

It doesn't end with simply translating English sentences.

Who is Jesus?

Why did people oppose Jesus?

What kind of person is the real disciple?

Why is the cross central to the gospel?

What does the resurrection have to do with me today?

As you follow the important questions in the Gospel of Mark, you will expand not only your English skills, but also your perspective on words.

Things that change when this class is over

When I read the English Bible, I feel less overwhelmed, and I learn how to read long sentences by breaking them into semantic units.

You will also become familiar with biblical English vocabulary and expressions that appear frequently, and develop the ability to understand the structure of NIV English sentences.

This is the most important change.
