Capturing peaceful moments on paper
I am Lee Hyun-hee, an illustrator who draws on the theme of the small happiness I feel in everyday life. If you sleep until the afternoon of the weekend, sit in a cafe, listen to music and read books. Fill the blank paper with warm colors by using gouache and colored pencils. It’s okay if you’re not familiar with these tools yet. That’s what I’m here for!
Express your daily life in illustrations
Create an illustration depicting a character that resembles you and your favorite cafe. Recreate scenes that make you feel warm when you even just imagine them. I like simple drawings, not realistic ones. I prefer a painting that preserves the key points and reduces unnecessary details. If you record your daily life with gouache and colored pencils, the memories that are otherwise fleeting will be contained in an illustration that you can keep with you for the rest of your life.
Hand-made wedding invitations
I often see people using what they’ve learned in my studio classes to make hand drawn wedding invitations with their own drawings. Let your pictures contain the most special and precious moments of your life.
In this class, we will cover everything from the characteristics of gouache to how to observe and express objects. Each lesson will be thorough from the basics so that even those who are new to paintings can fully understand and follow along.
- Below tools will be used during the class. You can also order the All-in-one package to elevate the learning experience. (The tools are picked together with the creator for the classmates.)
- Holbein Acrylic Gouache 12 Colors Lesson Set
This product is capable of both transparent and opaque expressions. It dries quickly, and even if you paint over it, colors won’t mix, so you can express well.
- Holbein Acrylic Gouache Large White (75ml)
This is what we’ll use to mix with the acrylic gouache paint set.
- Masking Tape
Masking tape needed to draw a picture with a background. It is a product with weak adhesion, and the color is shipped randomly.
- Sanford Prisma Color Pencils
Composed of 4 colors that are essential for class. (White, black, burnt oak, sepia)
- Staedtler Pencil & Eraser
Pencil and eraser for sketching.
- Strathmore Palette Paper 9x12
A palette paper can be used for squeezed tube paint.
- Canson Montval Sink Pad 135x210m
The most popular paper for art. It is good to carry and has a small size.
- Royal Brush Flat Brush 3 Set
Flat brushes for painting large areas.
- Royal Brush Round #6 Brush
A fine brush for painting an area of normal size.
- Rosemary & Co Detail Handwriting Brush 0
A small fine brush for delicate expressions.

Q. How does the shipping process work?
A. The kit will be shipped out within 24 hours after your order got confirmed, and there will be a cancellation fee or change from this point on. Each kit has a different delivery courier, so you cannot request a specific courior or delivery date.
Q. What can I do for a damaged kit?
A. We are keeping our products at the best quality possible, but if you received a damaged kit, you can contact the Help center for replacement or refund within a month from the date of your receipt. We cannot accept returns or exchanges without prior notice.
Q. Can I change my shipping address?
A. You can change your shipping address by contacting CLASS101 Help Center.

Q. How long does it take to receive my kit?
A. It usually takes about 2 weeks after your order is shipped out. You will also get a notification email where you can check your tracking number for the detailed delivery status of your order. If you still have concerns you can contact CLASS101 Help Center.
Q. What if my kit was delivered to the wrong address?
A. You can contact CLASS101 Help Center to request a “Change of address”.
