From solid basics to brilliant transformations
Since this is a Spencarian typeface class, I'll teach you basic lowercase and capital letters in this lesson, and I'll also teach you the colorful variations of capital letters. The basic form of capital letters is also very colorful, but the modified style with one more stroke is fun just to look at. This typeface, which has many twisty curves, has the thrill and joy of unfolding difficult techniques such as the brilliant triple axel of figure skating when implemented.
This class focuses on teaching typefaces, but I'd like to introduce you to additional feather flushing in particular. It's a decorative calligraphy, so if you know how to draw feathers to decorate colorful letters even more gorgeously! It's really useful, isn't it?!

Hello! I'm Danbisweetrain, a calligrapher. My work name, Danbisweetrain, comes from my moto of refreshing monotonous everyday life with words and letters as if you'd welcome refreshing spring rain.
Since I was young, I loved writing with empathy for good writing, and I majored in English literature and French literature. And I've always admired art. I found English calligraphy at the center of all my interests, and the process of refining my handwriting became a process of refining myself.
