As a jewelry designer, I naturally became interested in shiny things. Among them, I came to create a suncatcher that allows me to enjoy the light in a different way and brings a new atmosphere to the space. From spring until now, we have been running Suncatcher One Day Classes at our Seogyo-dong studio.

What is a suncatcher?

A suncatcher is a hanging object that gathers and spreads light, and it has the meaning of bringing in a good energy like a dreamcatcher that chases away nightmares. Just hanging one thing can change the atmosphere of that space in a romantic or positive way.

Of course, even if it doesn't get sunlight, it's pretty enough just to hang it as a hanging object like a mobile. Use a variety of materials to enjoy the sparkle in a different way and make your boring space special!

Since we started the Suncatcher One-Day Class for almost the first time, many people have created their own suncatchers through steady classes from spring to now. Each element contains meaning, and everyone dies satisfied with the suncatcher they made by themselves while thinking about their own space. We are proud to teach this class, so we would like to join more people online.

Estimated class time

There are 6 chapters in total, and I will try to create 1 keyring and 3 works of Suncatcher.

It takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour to create one work, and as the class progresses, the production method becomes familiar and the time may be shortened. We offer a 16-week course period to make Suncatcher even prettier. The time required may vary depending on the individual and the speed of progress.

A. We tend to use a wide variety of ingredients to make our products. Our tips will give you ideas for new materials, and we'll also show you where to buy the main materials.

Q. Can I make other accessories or props using the methods I've learned?

A. In the keyring making class, I will teach you the basic production methods used to make accessories. You can make earrings, bracelets, etc. using the same method you practiced while making a key ring. Using the Suncatcher method, you can also make small items such as mobiles and leases. I'll give you detailed tips on how to make it more complete and beautiful.
