aloha! I'm Eden Kai, a singer-songwriter who works mainly in Hawaii. I have also been helped by music many times in my life. For that reason, we try to deliver music that makes more people smile.

Q. What kind of work is your teacher working on? Please introduce your teacher briefly!
A. I'm from Tokyo, moved when I was 14 years old, and since then I've been doing music activities such as singer-songwriter, acoustic guitar, ukulele player, etc. based in Hawaii for about 8 years! I've been on a music label for about 3 years, and now I'm releasing original songs (with vocals and instruments) as an indie artist.
Q. How did your teacher get into ukulele?
A. I started playing acoustic guitar, which I started in Tokyo when I was 14 years old, and I moved to Hawaii, which was my trigger. For local families, ukulele is close to a part of life, so I started it as a hobby.
Q. Why did you decide to offer online classes with CLASS101?
A. Although online lessons have already been conducted this year, the main reason is that we have received a lot of voices saying โI don't have time to schedule in the middleโ and โI want to practice while watching over and over again without forgetting what I've learned.โ My resolution for this year was โI want to try something new,โ so I made a decision right after hearing from you lol
Q. What was the most important thing you worked on when planning the class? Who would you recommend this class to?
A. It's โeasy to understand, concise, and broad.โ As much as possible, I tried to create lessons that were tailored to the level of each person taking the course and that everyone would be satisfied.
I recommend it to everyone who is interested in ukulele, plays it but is hard to improve, feels limited, or wants to start something new!
Q. What kind of experiences do you want the students to have through this class?
A. I hope you can experience the endless possibilities and enjoyment of music hidden in ukuleles.
