I want you to bring in what you've learned here into your own lifestyle and establish your own “Champagne activity.” And in the end, it would be great if we could visit the Champagne region together.

It would be great if you could incorporate champagne into your lifestyle. The purpose is for everyone to be able to enjoy a life with champagne through this class.

Q. What kind of activities do your teachers do? Please tell me about your teacher!

A. I opened Salon de Champagne Vionys, a champagne bar in Ginza in 2005, and I am currently involved as an advisor. Other than that, they are also responsible for lectures, seminars, champagne and wine events, consulting for liquor retailers, restaurants, hotels, etc., and are also responsible for water and Japanese wine brand ambassadors to promote and raise awareness about wine, including champagne.

Q. How did you become a sommelier, as a teacher?

A. Originally, I entered the food and beverage industry with my dream of becoming a cook, but I was drawn to the appeal of wine and service, so I decided to pursue my path as a sommelier. He qualified as a sommelier in 1987, won the sommelier competition held once every 3 years to decide the best in Japan in 2002, and participated in the 2004 World Championships as a representative of Japan. Currently, I'm visiting wineries around the world and trying out tests with a master sommelier from England, which is said to be the most difficult in the world.

Q. Why did you decide to start online classes with CLASS101?

A. I was fascinated by the new style of classes where the time per lesson was short and I could learn at my own favorite time. Another major feature is that you can enjoy learning while actually drinking champagne together in the second half of the 20 sessions. Being able to learn trend information and ways to enjoy it from academic content according to lifestyle is a new style of lesson that follows the student's point of view that has never been seen before.

Q. What did you do the most when planning the class? Who would you recommend this class to?

A. It is not limited to champagne, but it is similar to all alcoholic beverages such as wine and Japanese sake, but with a little knowledge, the deliciousness can be multiplied many times over. This year's curriculum is designed with an emphasis on exactly these.

Champagne, in particular, is a fashionable and enchanting drink. I would like people who love champagne regardless of their wine knowledge to take this course.
