Skills You’ll Learn
Even if you write lyrics for a long time
Why aren't my lyrics selected?
After 1 to 2 years of writing lyrics, most of them will be good at writing lyrics to some extent. Then, you'll run into trouble.
Why aren't my lyrics fixed?
Why aren't my lyrics the same as “lyricist's lyrics?”
There is only one difference between a professional lyricist and an amateur lyricist. I couldn't break this barrier, so I gave up writing lyrics at the decisive moment. In order to make the most of your precious talents, we will show you a practical lyricist to find the differences at a glance.
For stubborn people
The lyricist benefits of participating in the contest
Those who are 100% stubborn in this class will be given a chance to participate in the OST contest. If you win the contest, you'll get a chance to debut as a lyricist. Catch two rabbits for the class teacher and the lyricist's debut.
Just writing and lyrics are different
The lyrics are created by thinking about whether the singers' pronunciation actually sticks to when recording, and what ratio English should be included in. I'll teach you everything from how to write lyrics that are perfect for singers to how to create lyrics that target fandom.
Learn from a K-pop professional lyricist
The lyricist's attitude
As a professor of practical music at Howon University, a K-pop professor at the Department of Broadcasting and Entertainment at Dong-A University of Broadcasting and Arts, and a regular course lecturer at SJA Practical College (formerly Seoul Jazz Academy), I felt that a lyricist needed many skills in addition to writing lyrics well. Oh Yuwon
Hello! I'm glad that the lyricist who participated in the lyrics of various songs such as EXO, Ailee, and NCT127 is Oh Yu-won. ^^
As a workaholic with many things I want to do and become, I have gained various experiences in the music industry, starting as an incumbent lyricist, working as a professor, attending school, and music publishing A&R.
In this class 101, I would like to share the unique know-how I gained along the way and the insights I learned from a broad perspective.
It will be a fun class filled with a comprehensive gift set, including various interviews with my music colleagues.
This class is accompanied by a well-known music publishing company in Korea.
I hope that even those who are far away and can't come to a lyricist school in Seoul will also learn about lyrics and get a chance to make their debut through this class! :)
