Anti-masterpiece training to improve writing skills

Let's practice using photos to develop a sense of painting.

Until you complete a rich illustration

We will share the meticulous process, including line drawing, from screen configuration method to completion.

Tips for detailing

Here are some things to keep in mind when making realistic depictions in character illustrations

Enhancing the appeal of a character's face

Let's get to know the structure of a deformed face and find out how to improve the quality of the head.

Effective use of light

I'll try to express an element that will catch the eye with just the light.

Using tools to retouching an illustration

Add MSG to the picture to create the desired atmosphere and completeness at the same time.

For strong classmates, we will provide the original PSD file of the class demonstration work. ⭐

Firepower that brings out the intended beauty

Hello, I'm Indy, an illustrator who mainly deals with character drawings. It was a great opportunity to meet all of you with Class 101.

I'm sure many of you think you want to draw well. So where does that psychology come from, and what should we do to resolve that question? I think a well-drawn picture is a picture that can convey the same feeling and emotion to the reader.

Of course, there are times when you draw the same character as everyone else, but it's less responsive than you might think, or it looks fine when you look at it up close but you don't like it from a distance, or vice versa, or both.

In order to embody the emotion you feel, I would like to reveal step by step how to enhance attractiveness in various ways.

Why are you looking at your pictures? Have you ever asked this question?

I'm sure everyone has ever wanted to draw something blindly. Have you ever thought about whether I would be satisfied when that painting was completed? Why do we feel so vague about completion? I think the reason lies in the first idea of painting.

Just as preparation is important when starting a big project, so is painting.

Milestones that point the right direction

The main part of this class will begin with prior work to make the details you have carefully built up stand out even more.

We've included the importance and various elements of the strategy in the first half to highlight what you'll learn in the second half to capture all the excitement you feel.

Correlation between “ability” and “sense”

The importance of basic skills. I think everyone would know even if I didn't say it.

But I'm actually the type who gets tired of constant practice like croquis. It's nice to stick to the authentic basic concept, but I thought it would be great if I could improve my sense of the screen itself at the same time.

Therefore, in a different direction, light, sense of shape, human body and deformation, etc. Writing skillsTo raise How to selectively learn various required experience pointsShare.

Contrast-based depiction

At the end of the day, depiction is a step where you have no choice but to observe and move your hands.

But the picture is even more vibrancy It's one of the important factors that make it possible. Nevertheless, there will be times when it feels difficult.

What I focus on when describing, and a logical reason for why I'm describing it this way, based on basic theoryI will explain in an easy-to-understand manner.

Each element becomes a production point

It's just a necessary step, so your perspective on how the procedures you take affect the finished product will change from what you don't know and what you don't know.

To embody the character of a painting with the diverse feeling that comes out depending on the method of handling it.

Let's use it knowing that expressions that look higher can be derived from one course.

There is no correct answer to the picture.

I think I go through the appropriate procedure for the picture I want without even knowing it.

I love the work that has gone through the line drawing process. From the beginning of drawing, the line drawing process, which many people find most boring and annoying, was the most enjoyable step for me to focus on and immerse myself in. Thanks to this, I heard a lot about Sunhwa being a pervert, but I shared my appreciation of each other's work with others I've come to realize that not everyone uses the same process to draw.

What is your painting process structured like that for?

Let's analyze together how to handle the process for results!

In order to be able to capture this favorite character or creative character in an attractive picture, we will cover in detail the practical skills used in actual work and the process.

It's not difficult to handle digital painting tools, and I highly recommend it to beginners to intermediate users who are still inexperienced in improving the quality of illustrations, so I recommend it even more.

What I definitely want to say

Once you start, until the end

There will come a time when you suddenly give up drawing and want to draw a different picture, or you just want to take a break from painting itself.

When that happens I need to look back again at what I want to express and why I'm drawing this picture.

I thought about the things that eventually motivated me to start picking up the pen, and I felt it helped me to keep reminding myself of the emotion I felt at that time

I solved my know-how on the big theme of “detailed illustration build-up.”

Once you have tasted that joy when you have reached completion, you will naturally be motivated for the future.

I want you to present your own imaginary world to the characters and readers in a realistic state.

IND

Hi, I'm Indy, a freelance illustrator.

As the media and subculture industry gradually develops, I am happy to have more places to share related knowledge with people like me who are interested in character illustration.

I started painting because I vaguely liked it, but if you are active in this market because you want to improve it or have the experience of expanding your feet with painting, you must have experienced it at least once. There are already plenty of people in the world who are good at drawing, and even at this moment, younger and more talented people are pouring out.

Nevertheless, the world wants more styles of work, and everyone has their own strengths that they can show off.

I thought my paintings weren't really unique, and I hope I can use them as a weapon to find your strengths by referring to my work process, just as my strengths will come to light at some point and be able to share this know-how;)
