Skills You’ll Learn
Class introduction
▶ Hello, I'm Seungyeon Kim, Director of Good Mind Psychological Counseling.
Each of us has a window of mind to see the world differently. This window of mind is called a “schema.” We interpret certain events with schemas. It may not seem like a big deal, but the way you live your life is determined by the interpretation based on the schema.
Course Takeaway
- You may find the essential solution by identifying the causes of repeated behavioral patterns.
- You won't think negatively or blame yourself as you did previously even if the same situation happens again
- You will be able to design the way you want to live in the future
Recommended target
- Those who want to identify the cause of repeated behavior patterns since their childhood
- Those who want to get over a hard time due to their repeated behavior patterns
- Those who want to find a fundamental solution to psychological problems that deeply harass them
What makes this class special
❶ Learn about schemas
Willing to have a better relationship? Want to succeed or have a happier life?
These types of wishes are impossible just with simple mind control. It can be effective for a short period, however, when the same situation comes up, the same obstruction will happen again and again. Most people live in a life trap that interferes with their growth and they tend to ask others the reason why they aren't able to solve their problems. Well, does simply thinking about those and committing help you solve those problems?
❷ Life traps (schemas) that make it difficult for me
to determine the exact cause
I have met many clients through counseling for over 15 years. Most of them wanted to totally change their miserable life due to repeated behavior patterns. Most of them have two characteristics in common.
First, repetitive behavior patterns. We need to figure out why that behavior is happening.
Second, knowing their schema correctly. It changed their lives.
Also, as behavior changes, relationships that have not been solved until then now have been resolved, and naturally, they gained more confidence.

GOOD MIND
Hi everyone! I'm Seungyeon Kim, the director of the Good Mind Psychological Counseling Center.
Have you ever felt depressed or frustrated in your life? You may have an experience of starting over again in a new place with a new mind but it’s not as easy as you expect, huh?
Each of us is used to the environment we grew up in and by those circumstances, schemas involve our personality.
Schema is “the mind's window into the world.” Knowing the schema can we develop a psychological strategy and create a happy future.
