Class introduction
This is an introductory class for the free 3D program Blender. Currently, I have a YouTube channel called “Kim Render,” and I am uploading lectures and videos necessary for those who are new to Blender. In this class, we have covered everything necessary for beginners in Blender, from the basics of 3D, modeling to create a desired 3D shape, and rendering to output as a final image file. Feel free to learn 3D graphics using Blender, which doesn't lag behind in terms of functionality compared to paid programs. I will slowly teach you the basics so that even beginners who are completely new to it can easily follow along.
Course effect
- Even beginners who are starting a 3D program for the first time can easily learn the basics of 3D.
- You can practice 3D modeling and apply it to model the 3D model you want.
- You can render a 3D scene created in Blender and output it in the form of an image file.
Recommended target
- “I want to learn 3D, but I think it will be difficult” - People who are interested in 3D graphics but don't know how to get started
- “I've seen Blender lessons, but it's still hard for me to follow them” - Those who need a course that even beginners who are completely new to it can follow
- “I want to do 3D as a hobby, but it's hard to use paid programs” - Those who want to easily learn the basics of 3D with the free Blender program
Pre-course notes
- This class was created in the English version of Blender 3.2.2. (Please use Blender 3.0 or higher.)
Three reasons why this class is special
❶ Explain the basics of 3D that even a beginner in Blender can easily understand
Those who are new to 3D software, including Blender, should also pay attention! We'll walk you through the processes that apply to all 3D tools. You'll learn step by step, starting with the installation of the Blender tool, what an Object is, and the basic interface of a 3D tool. Also, we will practice various examples and work with you until you learn the tools in your hands!
Modeling - Texturing - Lighting - Rendering, is it complicated even if you hear the name? You'll learn the theory and examples of each part over and over again. By following them all the way in order, even beginners can create the objects they see in 3D.
❷ Understanding and reviewing theory through examples and practice
For those who are new to Blender, I always emphasize the “example exercise.” It's much more important to follow a class properly than taking a class 100 times. Beginners can only become familiar with Blender as they learn the theory by hand.
In this class, you'll learn the basics of modeling by building a desk, monitor, and keyboard. Also, from Texturing to apply materials to these objects, Lighting, which creates and places lights, and Rendering, which finally sets up a camera and outputs the final result, we will understand and review the theory through practice! We'll help you understand Blender more easily and quickly.
❸ YouTube-tested tutorials for beginners
Thousands of subscribers left great feedback in the Blender basics tutorial on YouTube. “I learned Blender for the first time, and the course was easy to follow and understand.” “I was a beginner who didn't know anything about modeling, but I was stubborn until the end.” Thanks to this response, class production was also carried out in Class 101. I created a friendly course for beginners in more detail than the tutorials on YouTube. I hope that through my classes, more beginners will let go of their fears about 3D tools and get into Blender to their heart's content!
Curriculum
Creator
Hallo
I'm Kim Render, the creator who deals with the 3D program Blender.
When I was a student, looking at other people's wonderful works, I thought, “I want to create my own 3D work,” and I started 3D graphics as a hobby. Then I learned about Blender, a free 3D program, and I studied alone as a hobby.
However, since the 3D genre is not popular and can be somewhat difficult, it was difficult to find courses in Korean, and there are many things that are difficult for beginners to find and learn on their own. Therefore, I thought about creating a course where people who are new to Blender can learn without difficulty, and I started creating lectures by uploading them to a small YouTube channel.
Then, in class 101, I created an introductory Blender course, and refined and added the course content to create a course for beginners in 3D. I hope my course will be of some help to those who are new to 3D.
Thank you!
