Hello :-) I'm Baek Si-nae, a metal artist who makes jewelry and objects using wired cloisonne. It's been 10 years since I worked on metalwork and taught classes. As I mainly work on jewelry using cloisonne, I've been thinking a lot about how to make cloisonne more widely known. And I met a lot of people through my first online class.

Cloisonne crafting is a traditional craft technique used for fine jewelry and crafts.

Cloisonne, also known as the art of fire, is a craft technique in which the glaze is placed on a metal plate and grilled over a fire. It is a traditional craft technique that has been used a lot for fine jewelry and crafts since ancient times. However, as it moved to modern times, it was overshadowed by the image of “old things,” and cloisonne began to be turned away. I would like to re-showcase the possibilities of cloisonne, which can express a variety of colors on a limited metallic color.

I have mainly created works that capture our daily lives and stories on cloisonne and apply a modern sense of beauty. We are making great efforts to communicate more closely with the public and to arouse interest and interest in Cloisonne's works. I would also like to meet your cloisonne works through this class.

So that you can enjoy cloisonne crafts at home,

We'll make all the preparations.

originally Cloisonne Temperature of 800℃Being able to give a constant amount of I need a kiln workingsIt's. though Your own spaceIn order to be able to enjoy cloisonne crafts in, I would like to introduce a work method using a portable torch. I'll prepare all the materials and information for you. Just follow along if you want to. “Can I even do something like this at home?” You'll experience a course that's as unique and fun as you'd think.

Also, since cloisonne crafts are based on metal crafts, you will also learn basic metal crafts such as simple sawing and cutting. As you create works according to the curriculum, you will learn the various techniques of cloisonne crafts and metal crafts step by step. At the end of the day, you'll have the ability to tell the story you want on a cloisonne.

10+α trinkets and objects will be completed.

Just by following the curriculum, you will be able to create at least 10 ornaments and objects. Since then, I have prepared a full kit of preparation materials so that I can apply it myself and make it. It's okay to make mistakes, and you can use your imagination to create multiple ones!

Learn various techniques, and later mix those techniques to make cloisonne jewelry and props with your own hands that tell your own story that are more like you.
