Unlike oil pastels,

The magical appeal of crayons

Hello, painter Soo Yeon HanIt's. I'm going to draw a picture with all of you using a material called crayons. I paint with a variety of materials, such as colored pencils, oil pastels, and digital drawing. Then I stumbled upon a material called crayons, and I was fascinated by the fact that unlike other materials I used in the past, I can complete a painting without multiple touches, and that there is no need for separate preparation or cleaning, so now most of my manual work is done with crayons.

Crayons are such a fun ingredient. When I draw a line with a weak force, it looks like colored pencils, but when I draw it with water and press it firmly on a piece of paper, it also looks like an oil pastel. There are various feelings depending on how you use it Mysterious magic material It's also the same.

Being able to create a clean, complete work without filling in all sides After all, it's the appeal of crayons. Just add color to the flow of the skin, the flow of hair, the flow of clothes, and the flow that exists, and the figure will come to life. The thick and thin lines of crayons always create a complete work without completely filling the paper!

The foundation of well-built figure drawing

To draw a face, you'll first draw the structure of the eyes, nose, and mouth, and learn how to color in a simple way. Let's take a look at the characteristics of each structure step by step.

Eyes Diverse emotionsIt can contain. If you can express your emotions, you can also express a variety of facial expressions. Draw a variety of eyes with emotion A person full of life One step closer to drawing.

From the front to the side, which is the most basic character, you will learn how to position the features you have practiced before stably, and how to color effectively, step by step, from sketching to coloring.

I'll show you all the ways you can draw to look more like the person you want to draw!

Just follow the flow and draw.

When drawing characters, the most important part is “flow” (coloring method). By following the flow with crayons and coloring with the right color, I'm not going to color every side with color, but I'm going to draw a portrait with a variety of thin and thick lines leaving margins. The goal of this class is to be able to draw a stable and vibrant picture no matter what kind of character you draw.

Made by combining various colors

Your own color, one piece of work

If you have built a solid framework Expressions of vibrant colorsLet's find out about. You'll find your favorite colors by learning about colors. I like calm colors. When all the colors come together, the colors that quietly support them are calm colors. When the strong colors of the crayons are in harmony, the calm colors are always not missing. I enjoy the most enjoyable moments when I combine strong colors that I didn't think would fit in with my own know-how to create a single work.

After taking this class, I think I'll always be able to draw my own portraits by myself. I hope you will be able to enjoy the joy of filling paper with people you love and characters from movies you love while freely drawing your own pictures.

I also know the joy of gifting pictures to loved ones, and when I drew the main character or celebrity in my favorite movie, I used to feel a little closer to that person, and I was happy. I want to be able to share this feeling with all the students taking my classes:)

Let's share the joy of painting vividly drawn on empty paper!
