We will introduce materials and practice methods so that even those who are new to modern calligraphy can practice the alphabet and strokes. I'll share tips from my many years of practical experience in the wedding industry.
In class, I will create 3 works: a welcome sign, a board, and a history board.
We'll also show you how to write menu cards, seat cards, etc. necessary for parties such as weddings, bridal showers, and baby showers. Everything from styling methods to neatly arrange what you write and tips for taking beautiful photos! It will be made public.
We'll practice commonly used words and phrases and introduce various modern calligraphy usage examples that can be applied to weddings, so after taking the course, you should be able to arrange them according to your own preferences!

Q. How did your teacher get into calligraphy?
A. After giving birth to my second child, when I was thinking about becoming independent with my favorite writing (calligraphy) that I can do anywhere and regardless of age, my former art director friend said, “The style of freelance calligraphy is starting to become popular in Western wedding scenes, but there's no one who can write in Japan yet, so why don't you try it?” I started because I wanted to make my wedding more wonderful when I was told that.
Q. Please give a message to the students!
A. This time, “What should I do to make use of calligraphy in my work?” There were many requests, such as “I want you to teach me a nice way to show,” so this is the first class to incorporate that content. I'll do my best to tell you so that you can continue to enjoy doing what you love.
