Skills You’ll Learn
Little magic with sugar
Give your desserts a gorgeous sparkle with amezaiku.
Sugar is used as a seasoning in everyday life. That sugar has endless possibilities to surprise and impress people by adding a little extra effort.
Nice to meet you, I'm Tomo, an amezaiku engineer!
In this class, you will learn amezaiku, a traditional Japanese craft, using a method arranged so that anyone can make it at home. We will convey to everyone the various expressions of sugar, such as the transparency and luster shown by amezaiku.
Why don't you please your friends and family with amezaiku that will brighten up your home dining table or add a touch of glamor to your usual tea time?
Anyone can take on the challenge using something familiar to them
The motto of this class is that anyone can challenge themselves using something familiar to them.
You will start with basic knowledge of amezaiku, where you start cooking candy, and learn in a curriculum that is easy for anyone to challenge.
It's not the end of attending the course, and the techniques you've learned can also be used on everyday dining tables
In the end, you will be able to think of your own decorations from basic candy decorations to original decorations tailored to various situations, and depending on the plates and glasses to be served. Also, it doesn't end when you take the course, and the techniques you've learned can also be used for everyday dining tables. I hope they will make more and more arrangements to make their loved ones smile.

I learned amezaiku at a 5-star hotel and currently work as a lecturer at a Western confectionery vocational school. I have been making amezaiku for about 10 years. I also have a history of participating in competitions such as world championships and winning not only within Japan. We also make amezaiku objects called piesmontese to decorate for weddings, and amezaiku, a prop used in television shoots.
When I first saw amezaiku, I was instantly captivated by its beauty and amazement that it was made only with sugar. I think it's a one-of-a-kind thing that can be eaten and can bring out both luster and transparency. I wanted to convey that wonderful appeal to many people, so I held a class like this this this time.
Q. Please tell me why you decided to offer online classes with CLASS101.
A. It's easy to think that amezaiku can only be done by special people, but anyone can easily make it with a little lecture. And it's something you can make in your own kitchen, and I wanted everyone to feel how wonderful it is, so I started the course.
Q. What points did you put the most effort into when planning the class? Who would you recommend this class to?
A. This time, I will make a curriculum that is not for professionals and that makes it easy even for people who have never made sweets to make it, and only what is available at supermarkets and 100 yen shops nearby without using special tools. Therefore, the point is that it is more familiar and that it is easier for everyone to take on challenges.
Q. Please give a message to the students!
A. There is no doubt that your family and loved ones will be amazed if you acquire this skill. Transform your anniversary or party into something special that sparkles like amezaiku.
