For people who want to draw high-quality digital illustrations with a simple process

“I don't know how to make a composition”

“How should I decide on colors?”

“I tried drawing, but I don't have any sense...”

I watched the making and time-lapse of SNS and drew “I think I could do it myself,” but in reality it was many times more difficult than I imagined... I think there are many people who have experienced this kind of experience.

Why do I recommend this class to such peopleLine drawing+bucket paintingThis is because lessons proceed with a simple process such as. As you progress in order from chapter 1, the curriculum is structured with a flow of steadily leveling up, soFrom “I think I could do it myself” to “I really could do it myself!” That moment is an experienceIt can be done.

It features a screen trimmed with a comic frame and vivid, new-retro coloring

In the first place, bucket painting is a method of coloring using the bucket tool of paint software.

Since the area surrounded by a line can be filled in all at once, it is relatively easy even for beginners or those who don't have a pen tab to paint.

In order to create an eye-catching illustration, it is important to use complementary colors to highlight the parts you want to emphasize, put them together in similar colors to create a sense of unity, and choose colors that suit the expression you want to express.

whoseThe lesson proceeds by properly verbalizing detailed techniquesTherefore, it is not an obvious sense, and it is attractive that you can incorporate it into yourself while understanding it properly.

And one more important pointcompositions.

Kamin's unique feature is the trimming method, like a frame from a comic, which is very useful when creating a showroom. Once you learn how to take and think about this composition, you will be able to draw an illustration that makes an impact with just one sheet.

Poses and how to express facial expressions are also explained thoroughly in each chapter

Once you've mastered color schemes and compositions, you'll also learn how to separate facial expressions and poses.

In the image above, the pattern on parts other than the eyebrows is exactly the same.

Try hiding your eyebrows and comparing them. It's interesting to be able to draw so many kinds of facial expressions just by changing positions and angles.

Key points of line drawing, composition, and color scheme, which are the three pillars of this classHold down, and while acquiring your own unique sensibility, let's draw new retro style illustrations that you won't forget once you see them!

[Message from the creator]

Hi, I'm Kamin.

Since this class is conducted using a simple process of line drawing and bucket painting, it is a class that anyone can easily take.

I would be happy if you could create a screen packed full of “likes” and hit each aim and assertion against the illustrations you are trying to draw without straining your shoulders and elbows.

I will do my best so that I can help you even a little with the illustrations you draw.

[Creator Interview]

Q. What kind of activities do teachers usually do? Please introduce yourself briefly!

While studying design at Tokyo University of the Arts, I also work as an illustrator. It is an expression trimmed with a frame like a comic, and features strong lines and vivid coloring.

They often use women as motifs, and they draw in various media such as advertisements, books, and jackets.

Q. Please tell us about your experience and achievements so far! Please tell me about exhibitions, awards, etc.

Normally, I often get jobs such as jacket art, goods illustrations, and covers.

I was involved in jacket illustrations for Indonesian artist Rainych and goods illustrations for Momoiro Clover Z Momota Natsuko's event.

Q. How did your teacher get into digital illustration?

When there was a stay-home trend due to the coronavirus, I thought I could do something at home... and bought an iPad, so I started drawing illustrations in earnest.

Q. Why did you offer online classes with CLASS101?

I thought it would be a good opportunity to analyze my own illustrations by teaching people, so I started the course.

Also, I think being able to communicate with students through illustrations is a big attraction.

Q. What points did you put the most effort into when planning the class? Who would you recommend this class to?

This is how to narrow down a showroom, how to draw a line drawing, and a way of thinking about color schemes.

It is recommended for those who are worried that the color scheme doesn't fit well or that the impression of the picture is somehow unfortunate.

Q. What kind of experience do you want the students to have through this class?

I would be happy if you could create a screen filled with the “likes” of the students, and hit each aim and assertion against the illustrations you are trying to draw.

Q. Please give a message to the students!

Since we proceed with a simple process of line drawing and bucket painting, I want to make this class easy for anyone to take.

I will do my best to prepare a curriculum that will help you even a little with the illustrations you draw!
