3 reasons why this class is special
❶
15 years of experience in taking magazine photoshoots and photos of various brands
Know-how of a professional product photographer
I am a professional product photographer with 15 years of experience, specializing in shooting product photoshoots for cosmetics and fashion brands. <AMOS>, <BALMAIN>, <CHICOR>, <LG Life & Health>, <SAMSUNG>, etc., to create a more attractive and luxurious atmosphere than the actual product in the photo.
When I was a junior photographer, I learned photography and retouching over my shoulders in an environment where there was a lack of information and no shooter. I learned how to use lighting little by little while assisting my seniors in shooting, creating an atmosphere according to material details, and using props. The know-how I have accumulated over 15 years has been incorporated into this class. If you are stubborn in class, you can create with your own hands the process of transforming a common product into a special and luxurious product from an image.
❷
Utilization of lighting (light) and
Production method according to product material details
One of the most important elements of photography is light. We take pictures to create professional and atmospheric photos. Therefore, it is necessary to freely control the light and create the desired atmosphere with that light. In class, you can learn essential writing practices. After taking the class, all of you will be able to create and set the lighting for the mood you want.
Also, when you take a picture of a product, you will encounter various materials such as transparent glass, wood, metal, reflector, and semi-matte plastic. Depending on the package material and its characteristics, there are various expression methods that further improve the quality of the product. In Chapter 5, you'll practice cutting images with transparent materials and glossy materials, and in Chapter 6-7, you'll practice cutting images using textures and liquids. I will tell you all the know-how to express luxurious products in a more luxurious, colorful, and stylish way.
❸
Finishing the tone of a photo
Photoshop retouching and post-production
Lighting and styling can also create a similar atmosphere depending on the cyan we have analyzed. However, in order to fill that last shortcoming, Photoshop retouching and post-production work are also essential.
Starting with how to retouch photos of nukis, which is the basis of product photography, you will also practice changing the mood of a product photo using a composite source taken. Those who have completed the class can complete a high-quality product photo by filling in the missing parts of the original photo little by little and completing the tone.

1. Refilter LR 250 Half White Diffusion x 3EA

2. Refilter LR 251 Half White Diffusion x 3EA
- Place of origin: domestic
- length: 1M
- It is a soft diffuser that gently filters light without using direct light directly. Think of the white cloth (diffuser) on the front of the softbox.
- There are various types depending on the transmittance, and the most commonly used whie defusion often uses the 251 refilter.
3. For honeycomb 18cm, 30˚ (HC1830) x 2EA
- Place of origin: domestic
- The honeycomb grid plays a role in reducing the width of light diffused from the light reflector and slightly reducing exposure. When the light source is wide, the user can create the desired size of the light source by adjusting the width of the light.
4. QpCard 101 Trial Pack x 1EA
- Place of origin: domestic
- The QP card is basically used to measure the camera's exposure through 18% gray or to balance the white balance. It is divided into white, gray, and black parts, and usually the gray part is mainly used. The criteria for such selection are set based on Ansel Adams' zone scale, and in the case of 18% gray, the gray concentration corresponding to zone No. 5 is expressed. All exposure standards for exposure meters used when taking photos or videos are produced based on a concentration of 18% gray. Also, the main purpose used in this lesson is to balance the white balance. The white balance changes continuously depending on each lighting brand or shooting environment. It plays a role in setting the changing white balance as a standard. Capture One Pro can automatically balance the white balance by taking a picture of the gray part of the white balancer eyedropper.

When I was a junior photographer, I looked at magazine photoshoots and commercials and asked, “When can I take pictures like that?” I thought and admired it. However, there was always a lack of information, no place to learn, and it was a difficult time to learn and practice over one's shoulders.
We have created this class to shorten these times even a little bit and help you with your photos in a small way. I hope that junior photographers will be able to solve their questions and grow even more through this class!
