Five desserts at once

Can we learn and create?

I can confidently say that this is possible. At the late age of 33, I revised my career path to a path that had nothing to do with my major. I was so afraid when I tried to take an unfamiliar path. But because I like it, and because I keep doing it, everything is doing well at some point. I will help everyone who took this class to succeed by recalling their first memories.

Why did you bundle these five desserts at once?

I've been running a cafe for 5 years and have made so many kinds of desserts and recipes. Based on that experience, I chose a dessert that everyone from adults to children likes and is easy to make. I also wanted to reduce the cost burden of getting started in baking by dealing with five things in one class.

Aren't macarons a dessert out of fashion?

Macaroons are delicious, easy to store, and beautiful desserts. So many people liked it, and I think demand was overflowing. In addition to that demand, many stores were created because of the ease of manufacturing and storage.

It's true that it's actually quite popular right now. Because of the coronavirus, many macaron stores actually disappeared quite a bit. However, macaroons are still the signature menu behind the scenes, and they are overcoming the coronavirus with those macarons. That high demand didn't go away easily, and macaroons with their own characteristics continue to be loved, and for that reason behind the scenes macarons are loved.

Through a lecture, I will introduce the signature macaron recipe of Behind Me as it is, and I will properly share the secret of kokku, which is the core of macarons.

We recommend classes for those who meet the following requirements.

  • People who love desserts so much that they definitely want to try making them at least once
  • Those who want to give their loved ones a sweet treat directly to their loved ones,
  • Also, for those who want to run a cafe dealing with their own precious desserts

Behind the scenes is trying to “do it yourself” everything, starting with the most trivial things.

We make and use everything we can, from beans used in coffee to syrups used in beverages, and ingredients used in baking. It's a bit slow and clunky, but even then I think it's an advantage, and I continue to stick to it like a principle. Thankfully for knowing these points, we have been operating for 5 years with lots of love and attention from people.

▶ ︎ Hello, I'm Jo Kwang-hee from Behind the Scenes

More than easy to make

To be able to build with confidence

The key points I want to share in this class are “macaroons, whinangsiers, cannulae, cookies, and strawberry cake. It's about making these five kinds of desserts anyone can make.” But there are five kinds of desserts It's not just easy to make, but we want to make delicious and tasty desserts so that you can proudly present them to anyone and sell them with confidence no matter where you sell them to anyone.

5 kinds of desserts

A recipe proven over 5 years

It's nice to have a deep experience with one type of dessert, but in this class, we're focusing on five recipes with a slightly more basic and practical theme. We've gathered only the best recipes from the actual popular menu of “Cafe Behind Me,” which has been consistently popular for over 5 years, so that you can experience a variety of dessert areas. I will help you to think about the deep aspects of each dessert based on your own taste and the tastes of the customer while making the five kinds of desserts yourself.

From a beginner's point of view

In beginner's terms

As a “man in his mid-thirties who has never tried baking,” he opened a cafe and has been running the cafe for 5 years through all kinds of trial and error. I've come from a beginner's place so far, so I know what scares and is difficult for people who are new to baking. In this class, everyone There are almost no words you can't understand.

I think the class will be so easy to understand. To overcome worries and difficulties, to successfully create desserts, and to experience the joy of completion I will accompany you at the same eye level.

Learned through hundreds of failures

How not to fail

The nth failure story experienced by a late novice boss is also a story of overcoming the nth time. While learning about each recipe, I would like to explain various examples in class. Whether you're starting out as a hobby or running a business, there are countless examples of failures you'll experience when making desserts. I think I'm a person who has experienced all the failures of failure. My experience will be your compass and help you overcome it easier and faster than others.

Packed with valuable experiences

For those who want to give a heartfelt gift to their loved ones and family, those who love sweets so much that they want to fill their lives with the fun and happiness of making their own, and finally, those who are running or planning to run a cafe I want to share my precious experiences and desserts full of love. We'll meet you in class.
