When I accidentally learned about Angeum Flower Mochi Cake, I was fascinated by fusion mochi, which combines the splendor of Western desserts with the elegance of Oriental desserts, so I run a mochi workshop, and now I'm introducing fusion mochi and Korean desserts on YouTube. When I ask people around me to make fusion mochi, the common responses I get are questions about what fusion mochi is and how to make mochi at home. I remember that until I learned about mochi, I had a perception that Korean desserts were strange, unfamiliar, and difficult to make. As a result, I started working as a creator because I wanted more people to come across fusion mochi, which was reinterpreted in a modern style by incorporating baking techniques, etc., and to learn that Korean desserts can be easily made and enjoyed at home, just like home baking. There are many recipes that have already been published for free on YouTube, but in Class 101, I created a slightly more structured class so that even those who are new to mochi can make it without failure. Also, while running YouTube, I developed a curriculum so that I can solve the questions posted by subscribers through a single class. Many traditional Korean desserts, including rice cakes, are made with precious ingredients and a great deal of care and time, but I focused on making them easier without harming the taste of the food, and using familiar ingredients to make them a taste that young people would like.
