Hello, I majored in design at Goldsmiths, University of London, UK, and am currently working for a foreign sports fashion company Creator BoboThat's it!
We have created this class for people who want to get away from their daily lives and try living abroad, want to study more professionally with passion, and want to build up their education and jump in their careers! For those of you who couldn't afford to start at the expensive study abroad school, I'd like to share some tips on how to prepare for studying abroad on your own at a reasonable price 😊
Try to create a work that suits your interests rather than the one the professor tells you to do, discuss your work with friends from various countries, and pretend to be reading a book at the wonderful library in Harry Potter. It's a school life that everyone would have dreamed of at least once.
I did that too. I hadn't gone to an art school before, and since I graduated from the Faculty of Industrial Design in Korea, it still seemed too lacking to get a job right away, and I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. I wanted to get away from the hectic life of doing assignments, meet a variety of people, see exhibitions, read books, and find out what I really like and do. Therefore, I decided to study abroad where various cultures and industries coexist. I felt like watching various works and performances, meeting many people, and enjoying the relaxation at the end of work would naturally resolve my concerns.
However, it was really overwhelming to prepare for studying abroad. In order to find the right school for me, I had to look at more things than I thought, such as awareness, curriculum, tuition, and location. Also, there were so many documents I needed that I couldn't organize, and there were too many things I didn't know how to write a cover letter or how to create a portfolio. There's no place where they can kindly explain anything, and the cheapest portfolio school costs a few million won. I didn't have enough time to prepare for university graduation and study abroad while working part-time, and I couldn't afford the school expenses when I went to school.
As if I were heading to the ground, I rumored all over the place and scraped data. As a result, I was able to pass all the schools I applied for after completing preparations for only 500,000 won, and boast a 100% pass rate. Since I prepared faster than anyone else, I was able to work for a short time without worry and raise additional funds until I finished all the preparations for admission in February and moved to the UK in the summer.
Studying design abroad is not difficult with me! A study abroad preparation story where you can hear directly from experienced people, including tips on living abroad while saving time and money! I'll help you save even more time.
Hey, you can study abroad!
