What makes this class special

If you're preparing for the entrance exam for directing, acting, stage, lighting, sound, and costumes, how do you study 'theater theory'? There aren't as many opportunities to learn about “theater” as you might think without going through a specialized academy or school, and even just looking at books is a bit limited.

Time and money are incurred quite a bit, and there are also people who don't have the courage at first glance because they judge that they are not talented.

This class is the most basic theory of theater entrance examinations, and it is a class that helps all of these people enter the “theater” closest to humanity with pleasure and without feeling burdened.

Since it was an introductory course, the lessons were organized through simple explanations and examples, and above all, I was prepared with the hope that more people would love 'theater' more deeply.

Hello, I'm director.j , a theater and musical director who is currently meeting students as an adjunct professor of drama at a university.

I've been interested in theater and the stage since I was in high school, but even then, I never imagined taking entrance exams for related majors because I thought that learning “theater” and creating or standing on a stage were only for a few people with really special talents. Because I was a very normal student.

However, I couldn't forget my love for the stage because of what courage I had after the military, and I finally secretly prepared for the entrance exam again from my parents at twenty-four, at a rather late age, and eventually passed, which brought me this far.

What I realized most when I first studied theater is that “theater” has always been with our human history, is the most familiar, and permeates our lives at this moment. In other words, theater is not just an area for a few with special talents; it is an open field where even the most ordinary and ordinary people, like me, can freely enjoy. That gave me confidence that I was the best match for theater than anyone else, and I was able to enjoy studying and working even more.

You're probably not really curious, but the reason I wrote a long editorial earlier is because that's why I decided to open this class. In order to help everyone enter the “theater” closest to humanity in a fun and casual way, the lessons were organized with simple explanations and examples, and above all else, we were filled with the hope that more people would love “theater” more deeply.

We sincerely hope that our class will be a class that fits the goals of each student and can be helpful. Thank you for reading this long post.
