Hallo I'm Seri Vinka Han, a freelance illustrator and Live2D modeler.

I usually had a lot of things I wanted to do.

I became a freelance illustrator because I like drawing, and I like to see the characters I created move as if they were breathing, so I'm still trying out a lot of things as a hobby, making manga, animation, and modeling.

Then I played a game and learned that it was Live2D. Live2D, which animates the 'illustrations', was enough to win my heart.

In fact, I wasn't confident in the illustrations I had been doing for a long time, and I didn't feel interested when I had to work with pictures I drew instead of other people's wonderful pictures.

However, when I saw Live2D motion applied to my paintings, which I felt were not attractive, I felt a charm that I didn't feel, and no matter how insignificant the picture was, even if my Live2D modeling skills were poor, it was just as lovely as if a new life was born.

And besides illustration, I discovered a new talent in me.

Try a new path

You probably have different reasons for starting Live2D.

Like me, to breathe life into my own character, to start a VTuber, or to try something new after being hit by a job that is too saturated.

In a case like me, I learned Live2D technology and received custom-made products, but I'm preparing to make my original VTuber model and sell it.

In this class, we will be creating virtual characters, but the final goal is “3D three-dimensional character modeling,” so if you learn it, you can also use it in game companies that use Live2D.

I'm also looking to study technology further and get a job at a game company that needs Live2D if I get the chance.

Webtoons often use Live2D to inquire about promotional videos for animation, and there are even an increasing number of cases where game companies and foundations are outsourcing with the concept of virtual broadcasting in line with the virtual trend these days.

Furthermore, you can create and sell your own original characters, get custom-made work like me, and try new jobs by learning Live2D itself.

Live2D is too difficult, and Korean materials are scarce

However, there are very few Live2D courses in Korean, and even if you look for them, Live2D is difficult even from the basics, so many people like me said it's not easy to get started.
