This is Miki Fukumoto from Mapril. After working at a pastry shop in Tokyo such as “Anniversary,” I went to the United States in 2002.

I was involved in setting up stores, product development, and technical guidance for bakeries and pastry shops in various parts of the United States, such as Los Angeles.

Returned to Japan in 2008. 2011,Sweets design studio“MAPRIL” was established.

We work on custom-made sweets for magazines, commercials, events, etc.

Originally, I loved traveling abroad, and my hobby was visiting cake shops and cafes in various countries, but I was surprised to see how Korean confectionery, which was not so quick before, evolved every time I went there, and I became interested in it.
