Skills You’ll Learn
This is a class where you can draw a meal diary using iPad Pro Create.
I'll tell you about iPad drawing from the basics and write a meal diary with an analog atmosphere
Let's draw together!
Hallo This is the illustrator Park Lee Soo.
I mainly work on the flavors of the trip and the memories I had with food.
As I work a lot based on photos and experiences I usually take from trips and everyday life, I can take out photo folders that I hadn't looked into after the trip, and I often remember my memories from that time.
So the topic of the lecture
“Make your own emotional drawing using your own travel or everyday photos”
Also, to reduce the burden on a blank canvas
'Easy and fun drawing'
I decided on it.
It's OK if the shape, line, or perspective of the object isn't realistic or straight, and you don't have to color the whole picture. Start with an easy line drawing so that you can complete a picture that looks plausible just by applying strength to the parts
From how to use basic tools for those new to ProCreate,
I'm going to share a lot of know-how that I actually use in my work.
One, get to know Procreate by drawing simple objects
Learn about basic tools and brushes and learn how to apply them by drawing fruits and patterns.
(For those who find it difficult to start drawing, we've also prepared location guides, practice patterns, and pattern examples, so feel free to use them.)
2. Analog-like package drawing
It's a time to learn how to capture points on packages and expressions that match the characteristics of the material so that you can record memories of that time while drawing packages commonly seen at travel destinations and in everyday life.
Three, food drawing with pictures
(In class, we will practice the image on the right)
Reinterpret food photos taken at travel destinations in your own style.
I'll teach you how to improve completeness with simple drawings using photos and make your own special pictures from missing photos.
I'll pick a picture and learn how to arrange pictures and pictures, try adding a pretty pattern if the color is dark, and change a white plate with no characteristics to my usual favorite color.
If you follow along, your normal kitchen scenery and your plain travel photos will be created in a different way.
4. Meal diary illustration
It's time to draw an illustration composed of various types of objects by applying what you've learned in previous chapters.
Beginners can easily capture the points of objects, simplify them, and draw a complete picture without using a variety of colors.
5. Recipe drawing that looks like a colored pencil
I'm going to draw a recipe drawing that feels like a colored pencil that makes use of the advantages of digital and the sensibility of analog.
I'll teach you how to compose pictures and text according to simple recipes and how to use brushes so that you can draw your own recipe illustrations even after the course is over.
I'll also share tips for printing/applying images I've drawn using the illustrations I've learned in this chapter.
The lesson also included how to print clearly as a mobile phone wallpaper or a menu book for a home cafe!
I'll draw my own recipe that only I wanted to keep, and I'll also show you Photoshop tools and ordering methods so you can print it out and use it right away.
6. Food illustrations at travel destinations
It's time to draw a single finished food illustration using multiple photographs taken from travel destinations and everyday life.
In photography, you'll learn how to fill in plain areas by adding scenery or objects, and make it a little more of your own by applying the methods you've learned in previous chapters through new pictures.
I think I would be really happy if I could take pictures of my sleeping trips and make even more special memories of my memorable trips and everyday moments through the drawing lessons I have prepared.
Well, I'll see you in class.

Hallo I'm Park Lee Soo, an illustrator who mainly works on various brand collaborations and publications.
My paintings are mostly about scenes from my time studying abroad or traveling in Spain. Apparently, when I worked by referring to the photos and memories I had captured at the time, I was able to take out the photo folders I wouldn't normally look into, and I often remember my memories from that time. Also, I felt that the pictures I moved from the photos were even more special when I saw my friends who had traveled with me and looked back on the same scene.
So when I first received an offer for an online class, I thought it would be great if students could draw their own scenes using photos of their trips and everyday life even after completing the class, and to have more special memories of trips and moments in their daily lives with pictures drawn by themselves, as I felt, so I structured the course content with that goal.
