I love rice cakes as much as rice, so I remember buying a basic three-pack when I went to the market. I never imagined that I would buy mochi at home and make it myself.

I learned about a traditional stone statue while getting married and preparing for my older child's first birthday party... Also, as that became my side job, I became interested in rice cakes, but by chance, I learned that a customer who rented me a hundred days had made his own rice cake. Back then, it was a time when all the roses were scattered, but the moment I saw a picture of a snow-white cake baked with a rose wagashi on top of it, I thought, “Ah! What's this? This is unconditional! ' I think I was thinking about this. That's what Mochi Sensei did.

Because of that relationship, I became more interested in mochi and decided to learn about it, but since my child was young and couldn't travel to Seoul, I was self-taught at first when I saw the rice cake book that the teacher sent me, but I was limited. Even now, I still laugh when I see the rice cakes I made in those days ^^ I don't have enough moisture, and the patterns are spreading because I'm self-taught by myself...

After that, I gave birth to a second child, and after making handmade rice cakes that go up on a stone statue for a hundred days, my job now is rice cake. I made up my mind and started going out to learn about mochi in earnest, and 10 years have passed since then.

I was amazed that I could make my own mochi at home, which I only loved to eat, and I also felt confident that I could make delicious mochi at home. I would like to generously share the points I felt and learned during my years of sales and lessons.
